Those responsible would like to properly celebrate the 50th anniversary of the fantasy brand. The franchise has rarely made a detour into the horror genre. But in “Dead by Daylight” we will experience a new killer, a new survivor, a new map and gameplay elements that are based on the original.

With one foot in the black fog

The power-hungry villain, Lich-Vecna, will wreak havoc in the Forgotten Ruins. The bard Aestri Yazar has been cast into the deserted land and is fighting for her survival. However, Lich-Vecna won't make it easy for her.

After all, it is his thirst for dark knowledge that drives him. And in this realm of mist there seems to be a dark energy hidden that he wants to win for himself. Because that energy could make him more powerful than ever.

To help him do this, he has the Book of Vile Darkness with him. This allows him to use four spells. With Fly, Flight of the Damned, Hand of the Mage, and Sphere of Banishment, he will strike fear into the survivors.

As new survivors, the elf Aestri Yazar and the human Baermar Uraz will try their luck in “Dead by Daylight”. The two bards go to the Rotten Tower and are surrounded by a black mist. The three talents available will be “Mirror Illusion,” “Bard's Inspiration,” and “Silent Sight.”

In addition, the Forgotten Ruins will be available as a new map. In this hideout, Vecna explores the secrets of the empire. And in the style of “Dungeons & Dragons”, the dice will also be used. But be aware that the use of the items always has a price. By the way, you shouldn't roll a one if you don't want to experience a nasty surprise.

In addition to the announcement of “Dungeons & Dragons,” a teaser trailer for “Castlevania” published. Accordingly, the vampire adventure will also come to the world of “Dead by Daylight” in the future.
