Between Heaven and Hell: New shooter hits Steam

When a new game comes onto the market, two things are important: how many people are playing it and how many people are rating it. This new shooter is doing pretty well with the first question. The free-to-play game is currently on 4th most played game on Steam.

There are already quite a few reviews. On Steam there are already over 12,000 pieces! Yesterday the rating looked a little worse, today it is at least “balanced”. Still, it's not a happy picture for the developers, who are going through heaven and hell at the same time with the release.

High demand, big problems

At the end of last month we already presented our July preview for PC and consoles The First Descendant is also one of the new games that for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S came onto the market.

What are the points of criticism?

  • felt worse than the open beta phase
  • Run-of-the-mill loot shooter without any special features
  • F2P trash game
  • Weapons have no depth and no bass
  • Motion simulation from the kit
  • severe lags, even at low settings
  • purchased items will not be credited
  • no challenging level of difficulty
  • too similar to other games

In summary, the shooter is accused of being simply boring, banal, free-to-play trash and there are a lot of lags.

Last chance: Play The First Descendant before release – new shooter with Unreal Engine 5

Do you want to play the co-op shooter The First Descendant before its release? You'll soon have another chance to do so!

Added to this is the fact that many players are reporting that purchased items are not being credited, which is of course a horror scenario at the launch of a new free-to-play game. Nexon has already spoken out and says they are working on it and will credit the purchased items and also the Twitch drops deliver as soon as possible.
