To improve Astegon's partner skill, you will need to create a Enrichment capsule for Pal. To successfully enrich, you will need 5 Astegon: 1 main Astegon and 4 other Astegon which will be “eaten” by the main Astegon. By performing this upgrade, the partner skill “Dragon in Black Armor” will be able to increase to level 2. To continue upgrading Astegon, you will need 13 more Astegon.

Enriching or improving the statistics of your Pal does not modify the work capacity, it is used exclusively for the skill that you activate manually by having the Pal at your side.

To ride Astegon you will need a saddle. The latter is unlocked at level 47 and requires 4 technology points.

To increase Astegon's movement speed, it is best to have the trait “Courier”. So, try to capture as many as possible until you obtain this trait which allows you to have a 20% increase in movement speed.

You can encounter Astegon in his boss form in the Black Volcano arena. The entrance isn't really common, in that you have to enter the volcano to encounter it.

To achieve this, simply go to the Black Volcano – Flank teleportation point, then pass the lava swamp located to the west of your position. After the area with the molten lava, you will just have to take the height to find the entrance to the Astegon arena.

As you sneak through the hallway, you will be able to see him spinning around the arena. Luckily, he is not aggressive: you can therefore turn back if you don't think you are able to confront him!

Astegon is a high-level Pal who has a dual type: Dark and Dragon. You will absolutely have to avoid having Pals of the Dragon, Non-elemental and Dark type at your side to hope to inflict damage on him, but also to survive his attacks..

To inflict maximum damage, you will need to have Ice-type Pals in your possession.. So, don't hesitate to have in your team Foxcicle Or Frostallion so the team can take advantage of the partner skill that increases the attack of Ice-type Pals. For your character, do not hesitate to make freezing grenades to inflict as much damage as possible on him in addition to your firearms.

For your resistance, you can very well take in your team Warsect to take advantage of its skill which increases the overall defense of your character if you invoke it.

If your wish is to capture it, you will need a good capture success rate, but also Legendary Spheres. The lower spheres will have very little chance of success or even no effect on him.

• If you cannot defeat Astegon, we advise you to use the Power Statue to improve your Pals, but also the Enrichment Capsule to improve your Pals' skills. This will require a little preparation, but the result will undoubtedly be more convincing.

If the boss fight is too scary for you, know that you can capture Astegon in the wild. The latter is located in a wild area, located in the northeast, protected by the region's militia.

You will have to exercise great discretion to avoid getting caught by them. Astegon has a relatively low appearance rate: it is therefore advisable to eliminate or capture the Pals in the area to refresh the appearances and thus increase your chances of encountering him. To capture, you will need to use Legendary Spheres, like its boss version.
