Articque, a geolocation solutions publisher, acquired by ChapsVision

ChapsVision, a French company specializing in the massive processing of heterogeneous data, announced on June 27 the acquisition of the statistical mapping software publisher Articque, based in the Center-Val de Loire. The amount of the operation was not communicated.

Geospatial data processing

With this acquisition, ChapsVision wants to develop its solutions in the CRM, marketing automation, sales management, merchandising and geographic information systems (GIS) sectors. The company also plans to develop the commercial aspect in the field and marketing investments, enrich its processing with external data, such as risk analysis, and enhance public data. ChapsVision that geospatial data processing will be available in the group's offers in the short term.

Created in 2019 in Île-de-France, ChapsVision offers businesses and administrations a software suite based on the exploitation of data. The group is divided into two branches, one dedicated to customer engagement, unified commerce and business and strategic intelligence for enterprises, and the other to cyber intelligence and cybersecurity for defense markets. It has more than 1000 customers, including SNCF, Thales, Saffrondifferent ministries or even Société Générale.

ChapsVision continues acquisitions

For its part, Articque helps companies make strategic decisions through mapping, by highlighting phenomena, data and trends on maps. The solutions it offers, “Map & Data Online” and “Articque Platform”, combine mapping and data processing technologies with a catalog of geolocalized data. More than 450 large account clients, mid-sized companies and public organizations use its services.

ChapsVision, which seeks to establish itself as the European alternative to the American giant Palantir in terms of economic intelligence, is not its first acquisition. In September 2022, it acquired its competitor Deveryware to strengthen its presence in investigation and security technologies for state services. She then got her hands on Geotrend, a Toulouse start-up deploying a competitive intelligence solution based on artificial intelligence tools.
