Today the developers at Studio Wildcard provided fresh content for “ARK: Survival Ascended” with “Scorched Earth” and the first DLC “Frontier Showdown”. We'll tell you what you can look forward to in detail.
Unfortunately for the Ark: Survival Ascended community, developers Studio Wildcard announced in December that the release of Scorched Earth would be pushed back a few months.

From now on, the waiting time for the players is over. In a recent announcement, Studio Wildcard confirmed that Scorched Earth is now available on all platforms for which Ark: Survival Ascended is available. Anyone who owns the remake can download and play the content of “Scorched Earth” at no additional cost.
In addition, the season pass called “ARK: Bob's Tall Tales” was released. This includes various additional content and can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store for 29.99 euros.

With “Scorched Earth”, a revised, technically polished version of the map finds its way into “Ark: Survival Ascended”. Your path leads to the original desert area, which shines in a completely new splendor thanks to the revision based on Unreal Engine 5. The developers also promise six new biomes: the dunes, the high desert, the mountains, the canyons, the badlands and the oases.

“Lotted with ruins, geysers, and intricate ancient cave systems, survivors will find an entirely new frontier to explore and master,” the announcement continued.
“Travel between the island and the desert to team up or play locally with hundreds of players from both worlds.”

Regarding “ARK: Bob's Tall Tales”, the developers added that we are in for nothing less than an encounter with the legendary ARK veteran Bob – voiced by Karl Urban. The season pass includes a total of three download extensions. The first, in the form of “Frontier Showdown,” is available now, according to Wildcard Studios.
“Build new Western-style structures like your own Rootin' Tootin' Saloon, then tickle the ivories on your own piano for an authentic frontier experience,” reads the description of the first DLC.
“Search for buried treasure with your trusty shovel, tame tough new creatures to pull your customizable wagon, and even board your own chugging steam train to explore these harsh wastelands.”
