An Unparalleled Free DLC: Don’t Miss Out!

A free update has arrived in The Sims 4 and contains a big new feature. This addition will further improve the experience for certain profiles.

The Sims 4 is still a huge success for EA with a community that exceeds 70 million players. It's neither more nor less than the most popular episode, and it will remain so for some time since the next game has no release date. So to maintain interest, Maxis developers have no choice but to provide regular updates and DLC. A somewhat special patch is also downloadable now.

Free The Sims 4 Vitiligo Update Available

Last month, The Sims 4 expanded with Character Castles content. A perfect DLC to build a majestic mansion and invite your virtual friends there. But the news free vitiligo update is a little different. This patch allows you to alter the appearance of your Sim. What is vitiligo? A disease which depigments the skin and results in white spots appearing all over the body. Except until now, it was impossible to have a character like that.

For greater representation, the game's teams teamed up with Canadian model Winnie Harlow, and it's now a skin in its own right. “The new Vitiligo update is my favorite part of creating The Sims. When I was little, I would have loved to have a Sim who looked like me, a true representation of my skin in real life. This collaboration is a powerful message that encourages players to embrace what makes them unique, both in-game and in real life.” confided the top model about this partnership with The Sims 4. In the contents of the free vitiligo update, we also find a simulated version of Harlow's house in Los Angeles, and a Sim inspired by it.

“The Vitiligo trait can appear in Sims of all ages and the patterns are varied to represent spots of different sizes and levels of symmetry. Additionally, players will be able to choose spots for their Sim's face, upper torso, lower torso, arms, and legs. (via EA). To have this characteristic, simply go to character creation, then to “Skin Details”. Note that vitiligo depends on the tone of the skin color, and that it cannot overlap with birthmarks.
