Hazelight Studios' debut title “A Way Out,” which launched in March 2018 and became a hot topic after selling over 1 million copies in just two weeks after its release, has now reported its latest sales figures, revealing that sales of the game, nearly six years after its launch, have topped 9 million copies.

“A Way Out,” released as the second title from EA's indie label “EA Originals,” which supports small-scale works and studios, is a local/online co-op action adventure game with a prison escape theme reminiscent of the popular TV series “Prison Break.” It has received high praise for its co-op system that further develops the mechanics of “Brothers: A Tale of Two Son,” as well as split-screen techniques reminiscent of the TV series “24,” and cinematic presentation.
