What else you should know about Gladiator 2
Gladiator 2 will be released in German cinemas on November 14, 2024. A first trailer for the sequel, which Ridley Scott is personally responsible for, is set to hit the screens on July 9. The budget of Gladiator 2 is said to have ballooned to over 300 million US dollars, so the film definitely has to deliver at the box office.
In addition to Paul Mescal, Gladiator 2 also stars Joseph Quinn, Denzel Washington, Connie Nielsen and Derek Jacobi. There will be no reunion with Russell Crowe or Djimon Hounsou. By the way, Crowe is not too thrilled about the fact that Gladiator is actually being continued after 24 years.
