Probably almost no one expected that Andor is turning into the best Star Wars series that Disney has to offer. Most fans would probably agree on this point.
But for the prequel to Rogue One with Diego Luna in the lead role, the end is already in sight: Season 2 starts sometime in 2025 – after that, Andor will be over. Who are Tony Gilroy and Beau Willimon?
Tony Gilroy (Bourne trilogy, Michael Clayton) is the showrunner for Andor and co-wrote Beau Willimon (House of Cards) wrote the script for the series on Disney Plus. It is thanks to this duo that Andor has delighted critics and viewers alike.
But be warned: Of course, the report from MyTimeToShineHello is not officially confirmed. And if there is actually something to it, Gilroy and Willimon would have to be interested in continuing to work on Star Wars and then agree on a project with Disney and Lucasfilm.
