The focus is on the boy Nowa, whose rapid rise in the “guard” you accompany – a kind of mixture of civil militia and adventurer group. Early in the game you meet the ambitious Reign, a lieutenant in the army of the neighboring empire Marisa, members of a clan that protects the forests. Such a ruin should be restored after a great battle renovated and transformed into a thriving refuge for those affected by the war. In order to upgrade them in certain areas, you need appropriately trained allies who you can track down all over the world. For some of them you just have to do a little persuasion, for others you first have to find a specific object, defeat them in a duel – or pay them dearly.
Battle hustle and bustle on autopilot
The fights with monsters take place through random encounters on the overworld or in the dungeons. A classic turn-based battle awaits you with options for attacking, defending, using items or special abilities. The characters are divided into two ranks: Vanguard and Guard. At the beginning of the game, no great tactical finesse is required; The pacing of the game gives you enough time to get used to the combat system, even if you with six controllable characters and up to as many opponents in the hustle and bustle of battle can quickly become a bit bleak.

But then you can still go to the Switch to automatic mode and let your fighting party act independentlylet. You have the option to set basic settings for the entire group or individual members, so that they can, for example, concentrate on attacking without consuming magic points or heal team members as soon as their life points have fallen below a certain limit. In any case, make sure that you arrange the fighters according to their abilities: close-range fighters, for example, should always be in the vanguard line, otherwise they cannot reach the opponent with conventional attacks.
